Palladium-catalyzed decarboxylative rearrangement of nonracemic phosphono allylic acetoacetates, or the intermolecular allylic substitution of nonracemic phosphono allylic carbonates with tert-butyl acetoacetate followed by hydrolysis and decarboxylation, gave ω-ketovinyl phosphonates.
