    A Synthesis of Acetamidines
    摘要:
    The condensation of primary amine with N,N-dimethylacetamide dimethyl acetal yields a mixture of acetamidine and imidate ester. The product distribution in this reaction depends on the temperature, solvent, and structure of the primary amine. It is possible to suppress the formation of imidate ester by performing the reaction in the presence of excess dimethyl amine, yielding acetamidine as the exclusive product. For acetamidines that cannot be purified either by crystallization or distillation, this new method is necessary for the generation of pure acetamidines in good yields.

    A series of A‐B type sterically regular bicyclio[3.3.0] diene‐based polymers were designed and synthesized as immobilized chiral diene ligands for asymmetric catalysis. With polymeric diene 6b, good to excellent enantioselectivities can be achieved in Rh‐catalyzed asymmetric 1,4‐addition of arylboronic acids to α,β‐unsaturated ketones.

    The description relates to imide-based compounds, including bifunctional compounds comprising the same, which find utility as modulators of targeted ubiquitination, especially inhibitors of a variety of polypeptides and other proteins which are degraded and/or otherwise inhibited by bifunctional compounds according to the present invention. In particular, the description provides compounds, which contain on one end a ligand which binds to the cereblon E3 ubiquitin ligase and on the other end a moiety which binds a target protein such that the target protein is placed in proximity to the ubiquitin ligase to effect degradation (and inhibition) of that protein. Compounds can be synthesized that exhibit a broad range of pharmacological activities consistent with the degradation/inhibition of targeted polypeptides of nearly any type.

    Provided is a naphthalene compound represented by the following Formula (1) : wherein R1 and R2 each represent a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, an alkoxyalkyl group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms which may be substituted with halogen atoms and have no asymmetric carbon atoms; A represents any of the groups represented by the following formulas: (wherein X1, X2, X3 and X4 each represent a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom); and z represents 0 or 1. The addition of this naphthalene compound to a liquid crystal composition makes it possible to improve various characteristics such as the high speed response property of the liquid crystal composition and the temperature dependency of the response time. The above naphthalene compound is useful as a liquid crystal material for liquid crystal compositions, particularly ferroelectric liquid crystal compositions.

    Provided is a naphthalene compound represented by the following Formula (1): wherein R1 and R2 each represent a linear or branched alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, an alkoxyalkyl group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms which may be substituted with halogen atoms and have no asymmetric carbon atoms; provided that at least one of R1 and R2 is an alkoxyalkyl group represented by Formula (III):         -CdH2dO(CeH2eO)fCgH2g+1     (III) (wherein d represents a natural number of 1 to 10; e represents a natural number of 1 to 10; f represents a natural number of 0 to 5; and g represents a natural number of 1 to 12, provided that d + e x f + g ≤ 20); A represents any of the groups represented by the following formulas: (wherein X1, X2, X3 and X4 each represent a hydrogen atom or a halogen atom); and z represents 0 or 1.
