The present invention provides a method of producing an antibody-producing hybridoma, which includes fusing a B cell immunized in vitro and a myeloma cell, and which is more efficient and practical than the conventional methods, more specifically a method of producing an antibody-producing hybridoma, which includes fusing a B cell immunized with an antigenic substance in the coexistence of a cytokine and a glycolipid in vitro, and a myeloma cell, and use thereof.

An improvement in a cathodic electrodepositable coating composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of (1) at least one blocked isocyanate crosslinker and (2) at least one cationic epoxy-based resin is obtained by employing as at least a portion of component (1) at least 20, percent by weight based on the total weight of component (1) at least one blocked isocyanate-containing prepolymer crosslinker composition wherein said isocyanate-containing prepolymer is the reaction product of a polyisocyanate and a polyether polyol.

Cathodic electrodepositable coating compositions comprising an aqueous dispersion of (1) at least one cationic epoxy-based resin, (2) at least one blocked isocyanate crosslinker, and (3) a solvent system containing one or more organic solvents are improved by (a) employing a blocked isocyanate crosslinker which deblocks at a temperature of less than 160°C, and (b) employing as the solvent system, one which is substantially free of any organic solvent which will react with isocyanate groups at the temperature employed to cure said coating.
Graft polymers are prepared by the free radical reaction of a base polymer such as polyethylene or polypropylene with an olefinic compound containing a tertiary alkyl ester group, which may be a simple carboxylic acid or a carbamic acid ester group. Upon melt blending or the like with polymers containing other functional groups, such as carboxy- or epoxy-functionalized polyphenylene ethers, the t-butyl groups are removed by thermal degradation and there are obtained copolymers which are useful to compatibilize blends of the corresponding polymeric constituents.
