  合成了二十二种新的1- [2-氧代-2-（4-苯基哌嗪-1-基）乙基]吡咯烷-2，5-二酮，并测试了其抗惊厥活性。在小鼠中使用标准最大电击（MES）和皮下戊四氮（sc PTZ）筛选进行初始抗惊厥筛选。在6 Hz的精神运动性癫痫发作模型中另外测试了几种化合物。应用旋转试验测定神经毒性。除一种化合物外，所有其他分子在至少一种癫痫发作模型中均有效。活性最高的是1-（2-氧代-2- {4- [3-（三氟甲基）苯基]哌嗪-1-基}乙基）吡咯烷-2,5-二酮（14），1- {2- [4 -（4-氯苯基）哌嗪-1-基] -2-氧代乙基} -3-甲基吡咯烷-2,5-二酮（17），1- {2- [4-（4-氯苯基）哌嗪-1-基] -2-氧代乙基} -3,3-二甲基吡咯烷-2,5-二酮（23）和3,3-二甲基-1- （2-氧代-2- {4- [3- [三（三氟甲基）苯基]哌嗪-1-基}乙基）吡咯烷-2,5-二酮（26）。这些化合物在6
