A simple and efficient catalyst‐free method for isothiocyanatoalkylthiation of styrenes has been developed. The protocol uses (alkylthio)pyrrolidine‐2,5‐diones and trimethylsilyl isothiocyanate as the isothiocyanatoalkylthiolating reagents, dimethylformamide (DMF) as the solvent, and the reactions were completed within one hour with tolerance of some functional groups.
