The methyl(perfluorovinyl)boranes (CH3)2BC2F3 and CH3B(C2F3)2 were prepared by reaction of (CH3)2Sn(C2F3)2 with (CH3)2BBr and CH3BBr2, respectively. The methyl(perfluorovinyl)boranes were found to be thermally stable at temperatures to 100°C, but decompose rapidly above 200°C.
