    Various new nucleosides bearing one or two lipophilic groups at the 2′-position have been synthesized. The lipophilic substituents were attached to a 2′-hydroxy, 2′-amino, or 2′-thio function. These lipophilic nucleosides anchor in large unilamellar POPC vesicles serving as phospholipid membrane models. The insertion of these molecules into the membranes was investigated by NMR techniques.     Nanowire, nanosheet and nanoflower supramolecular assemblies of fullerenes are constructed from self-organization of biphenyl and pyrene substituted PCBM. When 20 wt% PCBPy is blended into P3HT:PCBM as part of the acceptor, devices exhibit the best photovoltaic performance with PCE up to 4.8% by fine tuning of the morphology.

    The present invention relates to a comb polymer comprising a main chain formed from 1-ethenyl- and/or 1-allyl-2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorobenzene monomers and polymeric side chains grafted in the para position of the pentafluorophenyl groups, in which said polymeric side chains are linked to said main chain by an oxygen atom, the molar grafting rate of polymeric side chains being greater than or equal to 50%. It also relates to a method for the preparation of such a comb polymer.

    The present invention relates to a solid polymer electrolyte comprising: at least one comb polymer comprising a main chain formed from 1-ethenyl- and/or 1-allyl-2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorobenzene monomers, some of the monomer units of the main chain bearing polymeric side chains based on polymers that are solvents for alkali metal or alkaline-earth metal salts; said chains being grafted in the para position of the pentafluorophenyl groups; and at least one alkali metal or alkaline-earth metal salt, in particular a lithium salt. The invention also relates to a process for preparing a solid polymer electrolyte film and to the use thereof in an electrochemical system, in particular a lithium battery.

    A process for preparing a solid electrolyte or a composite electrode incorporating a solid electrolyte, configured for an electrochemical system, may involve: (i) synthesizing, in a solvent medium, at least one (co)polymer by ring-opening (co)polymerization (ROP) of at least one 5-8-membered cyclic carbonate and, optionally, of at least one 5-8-membered lactone, catalyzed by Brønsted superacid(s) and initiated by compound(s) comprising hydroxide group(s); (ii) adding to the reaction medium a sufficient amount of an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal hydride, e.g., LiH, to neutralize all the catalyst and obtain an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt and to protect the terminal hydroxyl group(s) of the (co)polymer(s); (iii) optionally adding to the mixture from (ii) salt(s) of the alkali metal or alkaline earth metal, e.g., a lithium salt; and (iv) forming a solid electrolyte by evaporation of the solvent medium or a composite electrode incorporating the solid electrolyte.
