  Reactions of AgBF4 with 1-bromo (1a)- and 1-chloro-1,2-dimethylcyclobutane (1b) as well as 1-bromo (2a)- and 1-chloro-1,3-dimethylcyclobutane (2b) gave 4-fluoro-2-methyl-1-pentene (8) as the major product. Reaction of 1,2-dimethyl-1-cyclobutene (3) with excess HF yielded 2,4-difluoro-2-methylpentane (9).

  AgBF 4与1-溴（1a）-和1-氯-1,2-二甲基环丁烷（1b）以及1-溴（2a）-和1-氯-1,3-二甲基环丁烷（2b）的反应得到4主要产物-氟-2-甲基-1-戊烯（8）。1，2-二甲基-1-环丁烯（3）与过量的HF反应，得到2，4-二氟-2-甲基戊烷（9）。
