Raney nickel hydrogenolysis of 3-[(diethoxyphosphoryl)methyl]-2-isoxazolines gives β-hydroxy-β′-phosphoryl ketones bearing a variety of functional groups, which can be further converted into α,β-unsaturated β′-phosphoryl ketones.
