    The present application is directed to a two-component waterborne polyurethane coating composition including: a film-forming resin composition, comprising an aqueous dispersion of hydroxyl acrylic polymer particles with a core-shell structure; and a polyisocyanate crosslinker, wherein the hydroxyl acrylic polymer particles with a core-shell structure includes a shell formed by a copolymer A and an inner core formed by a copolymer B; and wherein the copolymer A has a glass transition temperature ranging from -20°C to 60°C, the copolymer B has a glass transition temperature ranging from 20°C to 100°C, and the hydroxyl acrylic polymer particles with a core-shell structure have a glass transition temperature ranging from 10°C to 90°C. The present application also relates to a low gloss coating formed by the two-component waterborne polyurethane coating composition.

    A comb polymer can be used for reducing a Noack evaporation loss of a lubricant composition, especially of an engine oil composition. Application of the comb polymer to the lubricant composition can bring about the desired reduction. The comb polymer can include specified amounts of macromonomer and alkyl acrylates. Resulting lubricant compositions can include the comb polymer.

    Polyalkyl(meth)acrylate based comb polymers with weight-average molecular weights of 700,000 g/mol or greater and number-average molecular weights of 130,000 g/mol or greater can be used to improve the high temperature-high shear performance of lubricant compositions, especially of engine oil (EO) compositions. These polymers can be obtained in a reaction mixture comprising monomers, a dilution oil, and an initiator. The resulting lubricant compositions can have improved kinematic viscosity and high temperature high shear performance.

    The present invention relates to a core-shell particle which has a core, a first shell and, where appropriate, a second shell, where: i) the core encompasses, based on its total weight, at least 75.0% by weight of (meth)acrylate repeat units; ii) the first shell has a glass transition temperature below 30° C.; iii) the second shell present where appropriate encompassed, based on its total weight, at lest 75.0% by weight of (meth)acrylate repeat units; iv) the first shell encompasses, based on its total weight, the following constituents; E) from 92.0 to 98.0% by weight of (meth)acrylate repeat units and F) from 2.0 to 8.0% by weight of styrenic repeat units of the general formula (I) where the radicals R 1 to R 6 are defined according to the Description and the percentages by weight of E) and F) give a total of 100.0% by weight, v) the radius of the core-shell particle inclusive of any second shell present, measured by the Coulter method, is in the range from above 160.0 to 240.0 nm. The present invention further relates to a process for preparing core-shell particles, to a moulding composition comprising core-shell particles, and to the use thereof.
