mixed-ligand platinum(II) complexes of the type [PtCl(DMSO)(L)], where HL=N,N-diethyl-N′-(3-R-benzoyl)thiourea, N,N-di(2-hydroxyethyl)-N′-(3-R-benzoyl)thiourea or N-morpholino-N′-(3-R-benzoyl)thiourea (R=H, Cl, NO2, CH3O, CH3), have been synthesised and characterised by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy and 1H and 195Pt NMR spectroscopy.
