Morphology control of poly(p-phenylene pyromelliteimide) (PPPI) crystals was examined using reaction-induced crystallization of oligomers during solution polymerization of self-polymerizable N-(4′-aminophenyl)-3-carboxyl-4-alkoxycarbonylphthalimide.
