[Pt2(μ-OH)2(PEt3)4](BF4)2 (3). The organic products of the reaction are composed of ArSiMe2−O−(SiMe2−O)n−SiMe2Ar (Ar = C6H4CF3-4, n = 0, 1, 2) and cyclooligodimethylsiloxanes in lesser amounts. The obtained complexes were characterized by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography.
