  The mass spectrometry quantification and metabolic studies of leukotriene B4 (LTB4) in biological fluids require standards labelled with stable isotopes. This paper describes the synthesis of LTB4 labelled with 13C in positions 6, 7, 10 and 11 (1). These labelled carbons come from 13C2-acetylene.
