The present invention provides a fertilizer composition which enables the efficient absorption of a fertilizer such as calcium. Namely, the present invention provides a fertilizer composition comprising a specific anionic surfactant or a hydrophilic nonionic surfactant and a fertilizer as the essential components. The use of this composition for supplying nutrient elements to plants is also described. The invention also describes a method for improving the absorption efficiency of the fertilizer for a plant.
The present invention provides a plant-activating agent which effects no chemical injury on plant and which makes an activity of plant improve efficiently. That is to say, the present invention provides a plant-activating composition comprising a mono-alcohol having 12 to 24 carbon atoms and one group selected from (i) a chelating agent, (ii) a surfactant and a chelating agent, (iii) a fertilizer component and a chelating agent and (iv) a surfactant, a fertilizer component and a chelating agent.
Provided is a method of applying at least one compound (A) selected from (1) a specific monovalent or bivalent alcohol, (2) a specific ether compound, (3) a specific aliphatic acid or an ester compound thereof, (4) a specific organic acid derivative, and (5) a glycerin derivative to various farm products, thereby increasing the yield of the farm products, improving the quality thereof, or improving the low-temperature tolerance thereof.

Disclosed is a method for the manufacture of a library of complexes. The complexes comprise templated molecules attached to the template which directed the synthesis thereof. The templated molecules are produced in a step-by-step fashion which provides for a high local concentration of reactive groups involved in the formation of connections between the individual components of the template molecule.
