A serious of imidaclopridanalogues have been synthesized fromnovelchloronicotinaldehydes. The chloronicotinaldehydes are the important synthons obtained from Vilsmeier reaction of various enamides. Thus synthesized imidaclopridanalogues are new heterocyclic compounds obtained in very good yields. J. Heterocyclic Chem., (2009).
