The process proceeds with excellent diastereoselectivity and chemical efficiency, and can be used to prepare a wide variety of hydroxyethylene dipeptide isosteres for a variety of uses, including as HIV-1 protease inhibitors and renin inhibitors.(FR) Procédé de synthèse d'isostères dipeptidiques d'hydroxyéthylène à partir de méthylacétones $g(a)-N,N-diamino(protégé)(alkyle ou alkyle substitué), pouvant être efficacement appliqué à l'échelle industrielle. Ce procédé présente une excellent diastéréosélectivité ainsi qu'un excellent rendement chimique et peut être utilisé pour préparer une grande variété d'isostères dipeptidiques d'hydroxyéthylène destinés à des usages différents, y compris comme inhibiteurs de protéase de VIH-1 et comme inhibiteurs de rénine.
