  Reactions of planar [Ni(cdc)(2)](2-) and [(PPh(3))(2)Ni(cdc)] bearing pendant donor groups have been carried out with [RuCp(EPh(3))(2)Cl] (E = P, As, Sb). The reaction products have been characterized using various physico-chemical techniques, elemental analyses, magnetic measurements, melting points, IR, UV-vis, H-1 and C-13 NMR spectroscopy.
