                                    The construction of a carbon-selenium double bond was achieved by the reaction of acetal derivatives with bis(dimethylaluminum) selenide, and a variety of selenocarbonyl compounds containing selenoaldehydes, selenoformamides, and selenonesters were efficiently synthesized.
