  The heterobimetallic catalyst [Pd(COD)Cl-SnCl3] efficiently promotes the intermolecular hydroarylation of alpha-methyl substituted arenes (otherwise known to be dimerized/polymerized in presence of Lewis Acids) with indoles and other O-, S-heteroarenes leading to Markovnikov adducts.
