Synthesis and In-vitro anti-inflammatory activity of novel glycodendrimers with benzene 1,3,5 carboxamide core and triazole as branching unit

Novel glycodendrimers scaffolds containing twelve and eighteen a-D-glycopyranoside at the periphery and triazole as branching unit have been synthesized using click chemistry. Higher generation dendrimers exhibit better anti-inflammatory activity than the lower generation due to the presence of more triazole branching units and multivalent glycopyranoside units. Novel ferrocenyl dendrimers with 1,3,5-tris(aminothiophenol)benzeneamide core has been synthesized through click chemistry under microwave-assisted solid-support technique. The higher-generation ferrocenyl dendrimers can ‘sense’ and bind palladiumnanoparticles (PdNP) by encapsulation whereas the lower-generation dendrimersstabilize the PdNP.
