  In this paper, a series of optically active MeO-BIPHEP-type ligands, (S)-6,6'-dimethoxy-2,2'-bis(di-p-alkoxyphenylphosphine)-1,1'-biphenyl were synthesized and used to prepare the ruthenium complex.
