  3,4-Dihydro-β-carboline afforded after imino Diels-Alder reaction stereoselective alkylation and cyclisation, 14,15-dehydro-17-nor eburnamonine . Catalytic hydrogenation of compound gave rise to a simple product, 2,7-dihydro-17-nor eburnamonine . The configuration of this compound has been secured by a two dimensional NMR study.

  亚氨基Diels-Alder反应立体选择性烷基化和环化后得到的3,4-二氢-β-咔啉，14,15-脱氢-17-去甲烟碱。化合物的催化加氢产生简单的产物2,7-二氢-17-去甲金胺碱。该化合物的构型已通过二维NMR研究确定。
