  (EN) Diacrylate and dimethacrylate esters corresponding to the formula (FORMULA) wherein R and R" are hydrogen or methyl and A is either a sigma ((Alpha)) bond; a (CH2)n radical where n is an integer that may vary from one through four; or phenylene, or an alkyl derivative thereof. The new adamantane containing difunctional olefinic monomers can then be polymerized, or copolymerized with other acrylic type olefinic monomers to produce polymers with unusual physical properties, including unusual hardness, inertness to degradable agents, and resistance to heat. (FR) Des esters de diacrylate et de dimethacrylate correspondent a la formule: (FORMULE) ou R et R" representent l"hydrogene ou le methyle et A represente soit une liaison ((Alpha)), un radical (CH2)n ou n est un nombre entier qui peut varier de 1 a 4, soit le phenylene, soit son derive alkyle. Les nouveaux monomeres olefiniques bifonctionnels contenant de l"adamantane peuvent alors etre polymerises, ou copolymerises avec d"autres monomeres olefiniques du type acrylique pour produire des polymeres avec des proprietes physiques peu communes, a savoir une durete peu commune, une inertie aux agents degradables et une resistance a la chaleur.
