  This paper reports new reactions of isocyanide with α,β-unsaturated carbonyl and nitrile compounds and with acetylene monocarboxylates. The reaction of isocyanide with α,β-unsaturated compound gives two types of products, (1 and 2). The product 2 is formed when the reaction is carried out in methanol. In t-butanol, 1 is produced exclusively.
