  The intermediate perfluoroalkylated diblock hydrophobic-hydrophilic secondary alcohols (9-11), which were prepared by the reaction of monomethyl ethers of oligomeric ethyleneglycols with 2-[(perfluoroalkyl)methyl]oxiranes (7 and 8), resulted in the formation of the title monomers (12-14) by the acylation with methacryloyl chloride.
