  [EN] The invention relates to a method for the synthesis of an ester compound of the trans-4-amino-cyclohexane carboxylic acid of formula (I). Said method is characterised in that the ester (I) is obtained, in the form of a salt or otherwise, from a compound of formula (II) by means of a Hoffmann rearrangement reaction and optionally transesterification according to diagram A wherein R represents an alkyl, aryl or alkylaryl grouping. The invention provides a very high yield of said ester in an essentially trans form using a method involving few steps.
  [FR] L'invention concerne un procédé de synthèse d'un composé ester de l'acide trans-4-amino-cyclohexanecarboxylique de formule (I). Ce procédé est caractérisé en ce que cet ester (I) est obtenu, sous la forme d'un sel ou non, à partir d'un composé de formule (II) par une réaction de réarrangement de Hoffmann et optionnellement une transestérifïcation selon le schéma A ci-dessous : dans laquelle R représente un groupement alkyle, aryle, alkylaryle. L'invention permet de préparer cet ester sous forme essentiellement trans en peu d'étapes, avec de très bon rendements.
