  [EN] 2,5-diacyloxy-2,5-dihydrofuranes of the general formula (I) are used as activators for inorganic percompounds in oxidation, washing, cleaning or disinfecting solutions. Here, R is an alkyl radical with 1 to 8 C atoms or a phenyl radical. The washing and cleaning agents of the invention contain 0.2 to 30 % wt. of such activators.
