  The reaction of indium(1) bromide with ortho-phenylenemercury and 1,2-bis(bromomercurio)benzene leads to the isolation of the polyfunctional Lewis acid-Lewis base adducts (o-C6H4(InBr(THF)(2)))(2) (2) and Hg(o-C6H4(InBr2(THF)))(2) (3), respectively.
