  Brominated and iodinated allylic substrates can be subjected to palladium‐catalyzed allylic alkylation of amino acid and peptide ester enolates. The incorporation of a vinylic halide functionality into the allylic substrate allows a direct modification of the allylated peptide via cross coupling chemistry.
