  A phosphorescent transfer sheet comprises a support and a transfer layer separable from the support, wherein the transfer layer comprises a hot-melt adhesive particle and a phosphorescent pigment. The mean particle size of the hot-melt adhesive particle may be about 30 to 150 µm, and the mean particle size of the phosphorescent pigment may be 5 to 40 µm. The ratio of the mean particle size of the hot-melt adhesive particle relative to that of the phosphorescent pigment is about 1/1 to 10/1. The phosphorescent pigment may comprise a strontium-containing phosphorescent pigment. In the transfer sheet, a protecting layer separable from the support may be interposed between the support and the transfer layer. The phosphorescent transfer sheet ensures brightness of a clear or bright image in a dark place even after transferring.
