  本发明公开了一种N，N′‑间苯撑双马来酰亚胺的制备方法，属于精细化工技术领域。将原料甲苯、马来酸酐和阻聚剂，加热到40～60℃进行溶解；将间苯二胺溶于强极性溶剂中后滴加入反应容器中，滴加完后保温，加入催化剂后加热升温至回流，直至不再有水被分出时停止反应；反应液冷却结晶后，经过过滤，用水洗涤，即得到浅黄色固体N，N′‑间苯撑双马来酰亚胺。本发明两步反应在同一反应容器中进行，不需要对中间产物进行分离纯化，其合成工艺操作简单，工作环境得到明显改善。目前市售产品液相色谱含量在75％～80％，用本发明制得的产品液相色谱含量可以达到90％以上，纯度高于目前市售产品。
