DABCO‐diacetate (1,4‐diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octaniumdiacetate) was synthesized and applied as a green media for the synthesis of new derivatives of benzo[d]imidazole with azo‐linked core and bis benzo[d]imidazoles via condensation reaction of aldehydes and 1,2‐diaminobenzene under solvent‐free conditions.
