An energy ray-curable elastomer composition, which comprises an energy ray-curable compound (A) having a (meth)acryloyl group, a polythiol compound (B) having 2 to 6 mercapto groups per molecule, and a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate (C), characterized in that the ratio of the number of (meth)acryloyl functional groups in component (A) to the number of mercapto functional groups in component (B) is 100:0.1-100:5n (wherein n represents the number of mercapto groups per molecule of the polythiol compound), and component (C) is used at a ratio of 1-8 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of component (A). Thus, an energy ray-curable elastomer composition, which can achieve both high breaking elongation and good processability and shows good compression set, can be provided.
A photocurable sealing material comprising at least a polythiol compound as a first component, wherein, in the case where the photocurable sealing material is used to produce two sheets having a thickness of 1 mm, a width of 25 mm, and a length of 200 mm, the two sheets are photocured by irradiation with an ultraviolet ray, then the photocured sheets are laminated, and the laminate is subjected to a load of 10 kg for 10 seconds, an action of causing the lamination interface between the two sheets to disappear is exhibited, and the self-adhesion strength in a T-type peel test is 5 N/25 mm or more when the sheets are pulled at a peel speed of 300 mm/min.
The present invention aims to provide a primer composition that can give good adhesion between an acrylic resin and an inorganic substrate, such as a substrate formed of metal, metal oxide, glass, ceramic, cement, or mortar and is suitably used as a primer for bonding them together. The primer composition is produced by mixing (a) a polythiol having at least two mercapto groups in one molecule, (b) a silane compound having at least one functional group and at least one alkoxysilyl group in one molecule, the at least one functional group being reactive with a mercapto group, and water.

Described is an insulating layer-forming composition, which contains a binder based on epoxy-thiol. The inventive composition, its rate of expansion ratio is relatively high, allows coatings having the layer thickness, required for the respective period of fire resistance, to be applied in a simple and fast manner, while at the same time the layer thickness is reduced to a minimum and yet a high insulating effect can be achieved. The composition of the invention is particularly suitable for fire protection, in particular as a coating of metallic and non-metallic substrates, such as steel components, like columns, beams, trusses, in order to increase the period of fire resistance.

A composition that forms an insulating layer is described, which contains a thiol-ene-based binder. With the composition according to the invention, the expansion rate of which is relatively high, coatings having the layer thickness necessary for the respective fire resistance time can be applied simply and quickly, the layer thickness being reduced to a minimum and a highly insulating effect still being achieved. The composition according to the invention is particularly suitable for fire protection, in particular as a coating of metallic and/or non-metallic substrates, for example steel components such as pillars, beams or truss members, to increase the fire resistance time.
