Section 3 - HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
EMERGENCY OVERVIEW
Danger of cumulative effects.
Potential Health Effects
Eye:
May cause eye irritation.
Skin:
May cause skin irritation. May be absorbed through the skin in harmful amounts. May cause skin sensitization, an allergic reaction, which becomes evident upon re-exposure to this material. If absorbed, causes symptoms similar to those of ingestion.
Ingestion:
May cause irritation of the digestive tract. May cause methemoglobinemia, cyanosis (bluish discoloration of skin due to deficient oxygenation of the blood), convulsions, and death.
Methemoglobinemia is characterized by dizziness, drowsiness, headache, shortness of breath, cyanosis (bluish discoloration of skin due to deficient oxygenation of the blood), rapid heart rate and chocolate-brown colored blood. Exposure may cause anemia and other blood abnormalities.
Inhalation:
May cause respiratory tract irritation. May cause methemoglobinemia, cyanosis (bluish discoloration of skin due to deficient oxygenation of the blood), convulsions, tachycardia, dyspnea (labored breathing), and death. May cause effects similar to those described for ingestion. Methemoglobinemia is characterized by dizziness, drowsiness, headache, shortness of breath, cyanosis (bluish discoloration of skin due to deficient oxygenation of the blood), rapid heart rate and chocolate-brown blood.
Chronic:
Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause dermatitis. Chronic inhalation and ingestion may cause effects similar to those of acute inhalation and ingestion. Prolonged exposure may cause anemia and methemoglobinemia, characterized by dizziness, drowsiness, headache, breath shortness, cyanosis (bluish skin due to deficient oxygenation of the blood), rapid heart rate and chocolate-brown colored blood.
Chronic exposure can affect thyroid function. May cause pituitary gland abnormalities.

Section 4 - FIRST AID MEASURES
Eyes: Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Get medical aid.
Skin:
Get medical aid. Flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse.
Ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting. If victim is conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfuls of milk or water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get medical aid.
Inhalation:
Remove from exposure and move to fresh air immediately. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid. Do NOT use mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
Notes to Physician:
For methemoglobinemia, administer oxygen alone or with Methylene Blue depending on the methemoglobin concentration in the blood.
Antidote: Methylene blue, alone or in combination with oxygen is indicated as a treatment in nitrite induced methemoglobinemia.

Section 5 - FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
General Information:
As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear. During a fire, irritating and highly toxic gases may be generated by thermal decomposition or combustion. This material in sufficient quantity and reduced particle size is capable of creating a dust explosion.
Extinguishing Media:
Use water spray to cool fire-exposed containers. Use water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or chemical foam.

Section 6 - ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
General Information: Use proper personal protective equipment as indicated in Section 8.
Spills/Leaks:
Vacuum or sweep up material and place into a suitable disposal container. Avoid runoff into storm sewers and ditches which lead to waterways. Clean up spills immediately, observing precautions in the Protective Equipment section. Avoid generating dusty conditions.

Engineering Controls:
Facilities storing or utilizing this material should be equipped with an eyewash facility and a safety shower. Use adequate general or local exhaust ventilation to keep airborne concentrations below the permissible exposure limits.

人工染料,即苯胺染料或煤焦油染料,种类繁多,应用广泛。其缺点是经日光照射容易褪色,特别是苯胺蓝、亮绿和甲基绿等更为明显。在制片中要注意控制酸碱度,并避免日光直射,以确保颜色能保持几年不褪。

化学性质 黄绿色闪光结晶块状或砂状物。溶于冷水和热水呈红紫色,极易溶于酒精中呈红色。遇浓硫酸变黄棕色,稀释后几乎无色。其水溶液加入氢氧化钠液后,会呈现带有红色沉淀的几乎无色液体。

用途

  1. 用于配制席夫试剂检测醛类,并用于萃取光度法测定某些酸根离子及金属离子。
  2. 用于光度法检测溴、亚硝酸盐和二氧化硫。
  3. 用作极谱分析中的极大抑制剂。
  4. 染色棉、腈纶、蚕丝、皮革等,染腈纶效果较好。也可用于纸张、羽毛、麦秆、竹、木的着色,还可制造色淀。
  5. 作为生化分析的核染料,是最强的核染料,能对粘朊、弹性组织及嗜品红颗粒进行染色,并可用于中枢神经的核染色和细菌学中鉴别结核杆菌。在分析化学中配制席夫试剂检验醛类,以及溴酸盐滴定的氧化还原指示剂。

生产方法 将苯胺、对甲苯胺和邻甲苯胺与硝基苯、氯化亚铁一起熔融,进行氧化缩合,然后用硫酸溶解提取,再经中和、盐析、过滤及干燥得到成品。原料消耗量如下:对甲苯胺 635 kg、盐酸(31%)210 kg、邻甲苯胺 1170 kg、硫酸 1900 kg、苯胺 470 kg、氯化锌(98%)785 kg、硝基苯 1000 kg、氢氧化钠(100%)970 kg、对硝基甲苯 360 kg、碳酸钙 330 kg、氯化亚铁(98%)800 kg。

    The present invention provides systems and methods for production of activatable diazo-derivatives for use in labeling nucleotides. Labeling nucleotides is accomplished by contacting a stable hydrazide derivative of a detectable moiety with an activating polymer reagent which is used to directly label the nucleotide sample. Labeling occurs on the phosphate backbone of the nucleotide which does not perturb hybridization of the labeled nucleotide with its anti-sense strand. Since the method involves direct labeling, all types of nucleotides can be labeled without prior amplification or alteration.

    The compositions of the present disclosure provide novel fluorogenic probes for use in the specific imaging and detection of mycobacteria species, and in particular β-lactam- antibiotic resistant. Specificity for mycobacteria is conferred on these probes by incorporating a moiety that specifically targets the unique trapping mechanism of the DprE1 found in in mycobacteria. Accordingly, only Mycobacteria species that express both a β- lactamase and DprE1 enable both the activation of the caged fluorescent probe, and the affixing of the released fluorescent probes to the bacteria cells through the functioning reduction-covalent binding mechanism. Advantageously, such a probe is able, at its most sensitive, to allow single mycobacterium detection.
