The antiviral wiper according to an embodiment of the present invention is an antiviral wiper having a base fabric and a liquid agent with which the base fabric is impregnated. The content of a cellulosic fiber in the base fabric is equal to or lower than 70% by mass with respect to the total mass of fibers constituting the base fabric. The liquid agent is alkaline and contains a compound X having a pKa of 7.0 to 15.0 and a solvent containing at least an alcohol, and the content of the alcohol is 40% to 100% by mass with respect to the total mass of the solvent.
