A general approach for the allylation of oxa- and azabenzonorbornadienes is reported by merging organophotoredox and nickel catalysis. This methodology allowed the diastereoselective allylation of various heterocyclic alkene derivatives with a broader range of allylic acetate compounds compared to previously published procedures.
