  通过碱催化的三烷基化烯丙基脲唑3的水解，可以得到总收率为30-55％的烯丙基胺5。后者是通过适当的烯烃的TAD烯反应，再与α-溴乙酰苯进行N-烷基化制备的。提出的这种新的脲唑断裂的机理是基于与酰肼官能团相邻的碳负离子的产生，其通过NN键的断裂诱导脲基开环。
