Reactions of 2-alkoxy-1,3,2-benzodioxaborole with a wide variety of monofunctional bidentate oximes such as furfuraldoxime (A), pyridine-2-aldoxime (B), diacetylmonoxime (C) and hydroxy-oximes like o-hydroxyacetophenoneoxime (D), salicyaldoxime (E) and α-benzoinoxime (F) have been carried out. The tetracoordinated geometry in these boron chelates have been established on the basis of IR and PMR spectroscopy
