The present invention relates to compounds of the general formula: (I) wherein ring A, ring B, R1, R3, Z, L1, and L2 are selected independently of each other and are as defined herein, to compositions comprising the compounds, and to methods of using the compounds as glucagon receptor antagonists and for the treatment or prevention of type 2 diabetes and conditions related thereto.
Disclosed herein are a compound of formula (I) and a preparation method and uses thereof. The compound shows a good inhibitory activity against ROCK, providing a new medicinal strategy to clinically treat the diseases associated with abnormal ROCK activity.

Selective catalytic hydrogenation of nitriles to primary amines using iron pincer complexes
The selective catalytic hydrogenation of nitriles to primary amines with the well-defined Fe(PNPCy) pincer complex 2 is reported. This iron pincer catalyst shows superior catalytic activity and selectivity in the reduction of various nitriles including industrially relevant adipodinitrile in high yields under relatively mild conditions.
