    An object of the present invention is to provide an antistatic agent composed of a donor-acceptor type molecular compound that can prevent static charge on an insulating polymer material surely with good persistency and reproducibility. The antistatic agent of the present invention is an antistatic agent for an insulating polymer material composed of a donor-acceptor type molecular compound represented by the general formula (1) below and obtained by mixing, melting and reacting a semi-polar organoboron compound (donor component) of the upper part in the general formula (1) below with a basic nitrogen compound (acceptor component) of the lower part in the general formula (1) below, wherein R1 and R2 are each independently CH 3 (CH 2 ) 16 —CO—OCH 2 or HOCH 2 and at least one thereof is CH 3 (CH 2 ) 16 —CO—OCH 2 ; R3 and R4 are each independently CH 3 , C 2 H 5 , HOCH 2 , HOC 2 H 4 , or HOCH 2 CH(CH 3 ); and R5 is C 2 H 4 or C 3 H 6 .

    A palladium selective chemosensor based on a fluorescein-allyloxy benzene scaffold and a method of detecting palladium ions in a fluid sample with the chemosensor, whereby the fluid sample is contacted with a solution that includes water and the chemosensor to form a mixture. An ultraviolet visible absorption profile and/or a fluorescence emission profile of the mixture is measured to determine a presence or absence of palladium ions in the fluid sample, wherein the chemosensor has an ultraviolet visible absorption peak at 315 to 325 nm and a fluorescence emissions peak at 380 to 400 nm in the solution, and wherein a bathochromic shift in the ultraviolet visible absorption peak to 338 to 342 nm in the mixture and/or a bathochromic shift in the fluorescence emissions peak to 530 to 550 nm in the mixture indicates the presence of palladium ions in the fluid sample.

    To provide: a carboxamide derivative having reduced content of amide ester; a method for producing thereof; and a detergent composition containing the carboxamide derivative and having excellent low-temperature stability. One method for producing a carboxamide derivative is to react carboxamide, produced with a manufacturing method of carboxamide including 0.02% by weight to 0.18% by weight of amide ester, with hydrogen peroxide, wherein the method includes a carboxamide synthesis process to synthesize carboxamide by reacting diamine with fatty acid ester at a molar rate of 1.20 to 1.60. Another method for producing a carboxamide derivative is to react the carboxamide with monohaloalkylcarboxylic acid or a salt thereof. A carboxamide derivative is produced by the method for producing a carboxamide derivative. A detergent composition includes the carboxamide derivative. The carboxamide derivative is preferably amidoamine oxide or amide betaine.
