Two new entangled complexes, [Zn(bibp)(L1)]·0.25H2O (1) and [Co(bibp)(H2L2)] (2) (bibp = 4,4′-bis(1-imidazolyl)biphenyl, H2L1 = 4,4′-(2,2′-oxybis(ethane-2,1-diyl)bis(oxy))dibenzoic acid, and H4L2 = 5,5′-(2,2′-oxybis(ethane-2,1-diyl)bis(oxy))diisophthalic acid), have been synthesized hydrothermally.
