  通过2-烯丙氧基-1,2-氧杂硼烷（I）与烯丙基溴化镁在醚中的反应制备的2-烯丙基1,2-氧杂硼烷（II）是极活泼的烯丙基硼烷。该环状硼酸酯II是BCCO型有机硼烷，可以用作新型的烯丙基硼酸酯化试剂。与烯丙基硼烷一样，II也可以平滑地添加到各种酮或醛中，然后再用二乙醇胺脱硼，得到相应的均丙醇IV。通过六中心循环机制和烯丙基重排形成的加合物III已被分离并鉴定为2-烯氧基-1，2-氧杂硼烷。
