A novel monomer composition is described. The novel monomer composition includes at least one property imparting unit. The property imparting unit has at least one member selected from the group consisting of conductivity imparting unit, stability imparting unit and any combinations thereof. The novel monomer may further include a delinking agent, which is attached to at least one of said property imparting unit. Abstract The synthesis of new symmetrical 1,4-bis(methallyloxy)benzene and 4,4′-bis(methallyloxy)biphenyl and their bromofluorination with N-bromosuccinimide (NBS) and triethylamine trihydrofluoride (Et3N·3HF) have been described. The bromofluorination afforded exclusively the corresponding Markovnikov adducts with the fluorine atoms attached to the tertiary carbon atoms. The new compounds were characterized
