The present invention is directed to an exciplex formed from a .pi.-conjugated polymer and an electron donor or acceptor component. The present invention also relates to assemblies comprising said exciplex, their use in optoelectrical devices and method of enhancing optoelectrical properties of .pi.-conjugated polymers by forming said exciplex.
(EN) The invention relates to polymers which exhibit excellent electronic, optical and mechanical properties. The invention more particularly relates to polymers of the polyquinoline and polyanthrazoline class which are useful in electronic, optoelectronic and photonic applications. The invention further relates to a method of solubilizing polymers of the invention and polyquinolines and polyanthrazolines in general, using a complexing agent of a Lewis acid, a dialkyl phosphate, a diaryl phosphate or mixtures thereof.(FR) L'invention concerne des polymères présentant d'excellentes caractéristiques électroniques, optiques et mécaniques. L'invention concerne plus particulièrement des polymères de la classe des polyquinolines et des polyanthrazolines, qui sont utiles dans des applications électroniques, optoélectroniques et photoniques. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé de solubilisation des polymères selon l'invention et des polyquinolines et polyanthrazolines en général, ladite solubilisation se faisant au moyen d'un agent complexant d'un acide de Lewis, d'un phosphate de dialkyle, d'un phosphate de diaryle ou de mélanges de ceux-ci.
