A regio‐ and stereoselective synthesis of sulfones and thioethers by means of CuI‐catalyzed aerobic oxidative NS bond cleavage of sulfonyl hydrazides, followed by cross‐coupling reactions with alkenes and aromatic compounds to form the CS bond, is described herein.
