Pulverlackhärter auf Basis von Epoxidverbindungen mit einem Molekulargewicht von höchstens 1500, der bei Raumtemperatur fest ist, wobei die Epoxidverbindungen aus 60 bis 100 Gewichtsprozent (Gew.-%) 1,4-Cyclohexandicarbonsäurediglycidylester in Form des reinen trans-Isomeren oder eines cis/-trans-lsomerengemisches mit einem Schmelzpunkt (Peakmaximum im DSC-Scan bei einer Aufheizgeschwindigkeit von 10° pro Minute) oberhalb von 70°C und 0 bis 40 Gewichtsprozent weiteren Epoxidverbindungen bestehen, wobei 0 bis 15 Gewichtsprozent der gesamten Epoxidverbindungen aromatische Strukturelemente im Molekül aufweisen können. Die Pulverlackhärter ergeben Pulverlacke auf Basis von freie Carboxylgruppen enthaltenden Poly(meth)acrylharzen, die bereits bei niedrigen Temperaturen einen guten Verlauf zeigen.
An epoxy resin composition comprising (i) a compound having at least two epoxy groups in a molecule as a main component, (ii) a fluorene skeleton-bearing, silicone-modified phenolic resin as a curing agent, and (iii) an organophosphorus compound, amine compound or imidazole compound as a cure accelerator cures into an elastomeric product having a low elasticity, toughness and low dielectric properties.
There is provided an epoxy resin composition having low viscosity and a high cationic curing property. An epoxy compound of Formula (1):
(in Formula (1), A is an (n4)-valent C4-20 linear hydrocarbon group optionally containing an epoxy group, an (n4)-valent C4-20 cyclic hydrocarbon group optionally containing an epoxy group, or an (n4)-valent group of a combination of the linear hydrocarbon group and the cyclic hydrocarbon group; R1 and R2 are each independently a hydrogen atom or a C1-10 alkyl group; n1 is an integer of 2 to 6; n2 is an integer of 2; n3 is an integer of 1; and n4 is an integer of 3 to 8). For example, A is an (n4)-valent organic group formed by removing (n4) hydrogen atoms from butane, pentane, or hexane, or an (n4)-valent organic group formed by removing (n4) hydrogen atoms from cyclobutane, cyclopentane, cyclohexane, epoxycyclohexane, alkyl-substituted epoxycyclohexane, bicycloheptene, or bicyclooctene.
A fiber-reinforced composite material of the present invention is a fiber-reinforced composite material comprising: an epoxy resin cured product obtained by curing an epoxy resin composition and a reinforcing fiber, wherein the epoxy resin composition comprises an epoxy resin (A) and a curing agent (B); 10 to 80% by mass of the curing agent (B) is 1,2,4-cyclohexanetricarboxylic acid-1,2-anhydride; and the reinforcing fiber comprises one or more selected from the group consisting of a carbon fiber, an aramid fiber, and a boron fiber.
