    Methods of disrupting a biofilm and/or preventing formation of a biofilm are provided. Accordingly there is provided a method of reducing or preventing formation of a biofilm and/or disrupting a biofilm comprising contacting a biofilm-producing microorganism with a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor; a urease inhibitor; a Ca2+ ATPase inhibitor; a tip activator; and/or a myoinositol catabolism pathway activator. Also provided are articles of manufacture and methods of treating a medical condition in which disrupting a biofilm and/or preventing formation of same is beneficial and methods of predicting or increasing sensitivity to an anti-microbial agent.
