  在双（乙酰丙酮基）铜（II）催化下，几种环状和无环烯酮及其乙烯缩酮/缩醛与重氮丙二酸二甲酯反应。Cyclohex-2-en-1-one（1）仅产生C–H插入产物2和3，而3-en-2-one产生的环丙烷虽然产率很低。环戊-2-烯-1-酮和环己-2-烯-1-酮的乙烯缩酮6给出了相应的环丙烷7，然后将其裂解为酮8。缩醛9和10巴豆醛（（Ë） -丁-2-烯醛）和肉桂醛（（Ë）-3-苯基丙-2-烯醛）分别产生C–O插入和[2,3]-σ重排产物11b，c和12b，c以及环丙烷11a和11b，它们都是多官能的，合成有用的化合物。
