This invention relates to a radically curable, thermosetting resin composition comprising:
(a) at least one telechelic urethane methacrylate functional polyester resin,
(b) at least one unsaturated polyester resin, and
(c) at least one methacrylate containing compound, wherein
the telechelic urethane methacrylate functional polyester resins (a) have a weight per unsaturation WPU(a) from 460 up to and including 1000 Dalton, the unsaturated polyester resins (b) have a weight per fumarate unsaturation WPUfumarate(b) from 200 up to and including 1000 Dalton, and
the resin composition is further characterized in that the molar ratio between the methacrylates present in the resin composition and the fumarates present in the resin composition is is from 1 up to and including 25, and in that the amount of styrene in the resin composition is lower than 2 wt.% (relative to the total resin composition).
